Treasure Box Sampler

Two short skeins that I spun from a super soft blend of 50% Merino-50% Tencel (Tencel is man made from cellulose fiber, and has a similar appearance to silk). These would make great use in freeform crochet, embellishment, or maybe jewelery. I hand dyed the roving lavender and got a wonderful jewel-tone effect. The tencel is gloriously silky soft and makes this yarn glow since it doesn't take up the dyes like the wool. I spun it fairly consistent with some thick/thin areas. One skein is plied with a gorgeous shaggy black (cotton?) yarn from Habu, and is 38 yards. The other is plied back on itself for a simple and luxurious 2 ply. It's about 16 yards. Total yardage for this set is about 54.
