Faustite
(Faustite is a mineral that is often confused with turquoise.) Spun from a carded-blend of hand dyed Corriedale wool, rustic hemp, felt and yarny bits left
over from the trimmings of a felted scarf project. Spun with a gorgeous copper metallic yarn carried along, with knotty bumps added here and there.
Singles knot yarn, about 60 yards, 5 ounces.
yarn-64 DONATED and SOLD at Charkhas for Africa! Scroll Down for More Info and Photos

Donated to the Charkhas For Africa fundraiser, a great project started by Therese of Jump Sheep, and sponsored by Angela and Reenie of
Material Whirled. The handspinning community is supporting this project by donation of our goods to raise money for spinning tools for the
women of Africa. The goal is to help raise the standard of living by enabling these women to create handspun yarn more quickly and efficiently with
better tools, by doing something that is already a traditional craft in their culture. Read more about this at Material Whirled by clicking the photo above,
or go to www.charkhas4africa.etsy.com to purchase and support this cause!
