Circus Bear

When I finished this yarn, all I could think of was a gorgeous, soft grizzly bear, performing in a day-glo circus collar! This skein is handspun by me from natural/undyed dark Bluefaced Leicester wool that I spun with cocoons of an alpaca-silk blend in light blue, and some fluorescent lime green sparkle cocoons. Then I plied it with a cotton tape yarn in olive-ish green, which puffed up the cocoons into spirals, and made a big bulky skein that is about 105 yards and weighs 6.5 ounces. PLEASE NOTE: While plying, the tape yarn broke in one spot, so there is a tiny knot that can be easily tucked into your project--the wool is continuous and unbroken, however.
