Solar Flare

Solar Flare is handspun from a wool blend, that I hand dyed using colorfast acid dyes into this raging sunny color. This is a single ply that I spun while carrying along a gorgeous nubby 100% silk thread from Habu textiles. I also spun in knotty bumps and added slubs of copper sparkle, to make this a raging bright yarn that's not for the faint of heart. 61 yards, 4.1 ounces.
