Tag Sale Treasure

I have been just dying to make this yarn from my stash of seam bindings, and am thrilled with the results! Take note that the photos are somewhat washed out from glare off the rayon. I had a heck of a time getting a decent photo, and the colors are a bit crisper/brighter than I can show in the pictures.

This is spun entirely from pieces of vintage, 100% rayon seam bindings. It includes shades of pink with a touch of minty green. This would be fantastic to crochet into a bowl or basket, use as a trim on a garment, or use in your weaving. I cut the binding into random pieces and spun them together. Wherever a piece ended, I knotted a new one one, so there are many little knots/bows throughout the yarn. Keep in mind that this stuff frays at the cut ends, so you will probably need to trim each bow when you're done working with it if you want a clean look.
