Stony Stream

A handspun rustic but very soft yarn. Spun from a mixed colored, short stapled Merino wool in brown tones, overdyed blue (bought from mandalinn.etsy.com) I carded this into a fluffy batt and spun it, leaving the lumpy bumpy nature of the short stapled bits to add texture to the yarn. Plied with a fabulous cotton yarn with real fiddlehead fern bits on it. Two skeins totaling 79 yards are being sold together in this listing. Very soft yarn, 2.7 ounces, average 6-7wpi.
