Sailors Take Warning

"Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning." --saying from old Mariner's folklore

I blended the batts with a base of yellow Polypay wool from a humane/rescue farm, shiny yellow bamboo, red and orange wool locks, red silk noil, charcoal gray Wensleydale locks, and yellow sparkle. The yarn is spun as a coily, overspun thick-thin, lumpy bumpy singles style, with dark gray "storm cloud" cocoons of loose hemp spun on at random. It is soft, fuzzy, and sproingy and would make a great hat, purse or other accessory using big needles and your sense of adventure! About 55 yards, 4 ounces, very bulky
