Primitive

Two skeins of this unique and special yarn are available, spun from lovely undyed silver Romney wool I bought from Ritas Wooly Batts from her small farm in Maine. I carded the wool, spun it and plied it into a loop yarn using natural colored Tsugumi Silk yarn from Habu as my plying thread. Then I cut each loop and threaded 2-3 vintage buttons (glass, plastic, wood, metal, shell) onto the loop in little stacks, and put a drop of permanent fabric glue on the top knot to ensure that they stay in place for your project. I can't wait to see what you make with these!!
