New York

This yarn was just screaming to be called New York! It's super soft, dark and brooding, just a little bit 'twisted' with some color and a touch of sparkle. This yarn was hand carded by me from black baby alpaca fiber with purple/green sparkle. It has 3 distinct sections: the first is blended with light blue mohair, the second with orange mohair, and the third has a dark bluish-purple mohair. So you'll get 3 subtle stripes when knitting this up. This is luscious and soft. I made little twisty loops here and there while plying with a deep blue vintage silk thread. Just stunning!
