This is a thin but extra long scarf that I knit from my own handspun art yarn. Truly made from scratch...I bought a beautiful Shetland fleece from Houndscroft Farm. I washed and dyed it shades of blue, then spun that wool up in a blend of banana fibers, bamboo, sparkle, alpaca, mohair locks, and flecks of silk noil, plied with white tencel yarn.

Then I hand knit my big bulky yarn in this simple drop stitch pattern for a super long scarf with big, beautiful fringe to adore. It radiates blues and greens, hints of pinks, purple, white, red.

80 inches knit length, PLUS 12" long poofy fringe at each end (yes--it's a whopping 104" end to end!). About 4 inches wide.
