Winter Subsiding

Here's a wonderful, huge skein that I spun from two different farm raised rovings. One ply is a green/brown blend of all wool. The other strand is grays in a wool-mohair blend. The resulting 2 ply is about 90% wool and 10% mohair.
This yarn is a medium-soft, loosely plied yarn with a fuzzy halo that will continue to develop as you work with it. This is a huge skein that could be used in many different ways. I consider it next to skin soft for mittens or a hat, but probably not soft enough for neckwear.

Approximately 260 yards, and a massive 12.3 ounces! Bulky, about 6-8 wpi.
