Here is another lovely arrangement made on an old strainer with a red painted handle. The Strainer is wire mesh and is naturally distressed due to age and use! I made a nice bundle of 2 stems of peachy spray Roses, Bracken Fern, Babies Breath, Eucalyptus and some little blue filler flowers, and tied it to the sifter, leaving the stems exposed and added a simple bow of natural colored raffia as a finishing touch. A great piece for your retro kitchen, it could be hung up by the hole in the handle, or lay it down on a sideboard or shelf as a display piece. The strainer measures about 12" by 5".
